Australian Standard AS 3814 Industrial and Commercial Gas Fired Appliances - Western Australia

Service summary

You must comply with this standard if you intend to operate a Type B appliance that is powered by gas. You must ensure the appliance is maintained and serviced by a registered gas fitter in accordance with this Standard.

This Standard provides minimum requirements for the design, construction, maintenance and safe operation of Type B appliances that use town gas, natural gas, simulated natural gas, liquefied petroleum gas, tempered liquefied petroleum gas or any combination of these gases either together or with other fuels.
