Lotterywest Licence Agreement - Western Australia

Service summary

You will require this agreement if you intend to sell Lotterywest lottery products in your shop. This agreement is not transferable and cannot be reassigned if your business is sold. If you intend to purchase a business that is already trading with a Lottery Licence you will need to make an application to Lotterywest for a new licence.

The establishment of new lottery outlets will only be considered in locations identified by Lotterywest. If Lotterywest identifies a potential site for the establishment of a new lottery outlet expressions of interest will be called for from those who have a lease or offer to lease at the specified location.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this agreement you must:

  • pay the fees and submit the required documentation (including a business plan) and forms
  • be willing to comply with any ongoing requirements.

Approval time

Approval time for a new owner with an existing lottery outlet will take approximately 30 days. A new lottery outlet will take approximately 14 days to investigate the Expression of Interest, and then a further 90 days if the Agency decides to proceed.
