Stallholder's Licence - Western Australia

Service summary

You will require this licence to set up and conduct a stall, whether in a public place or on private land. A stall can be a movable or temporarily fixed structure, a stand or a table, in, on or from which goods, wares, merchandise or services are sold, hired or offered for sale or hire.

Public places include any properties owned by the Council, as well as any place that the public have a right of access. This includes streets, thoroughfares, and parks.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must:

  • Specify the proposed number of assistants to be engaged by the applicant in conducting the stall;
  • Specify the proposed location of the stall;
  • Specify the period of time for which the licence is sought;
  • Specify the proposed goods or services the stall with offer; and
  • Acquire the relevant stallholder public risk insurance.
