You must comply with this standard if you intend to store explosives, including under an explosives storage, explosives manufacture, or fireworks licence. You must ensure that your explosives are stored and marked in accordance with this standard.
This standard specifies requirements for the storage of explosives including pyrotechnics, and for the location, design, construction and maintenance of magazines. It applies to portable, fixed or permanent magazines, bulk storage and underground storage. It does not apply to the storage of explosives and explosive ordnance for defence purposes.
