Permit to Erect an Electrified, Barbed Wire or Razor Wire Fence - Western Australia

Service summary

You will require this permit if you intend to construct an electrified, barbed wire or razor wire fence around your property. You will require a building licence to build a fence. This permit will be granted if the fence is not next to a residential property.

Any fence that is constructed has to comply with the standards and, in the case of an electrified fence, must be turned off during business hours. Any barbed or razor wire must be at least two metres above ground level.
