Service summary

You will be required to comply with this standard if you intend to design or construct a precast concrete septic tank. A precast concrete septic tank must contain concrete which is mixed from materials complying with this standard, or with AS 3600 1988 or AS 1379 1973.

This standard has been superseded and is referred to as AS 2758.1-1998: Aggregates and rock for engineering purposes - Concrete aggregates. This Standard provides a basis for specifying requirements for aggregates intended for use in the production of concrete, including precast products.
