You will need this licence to act as a security agent. A security agent is a person who advertises or supplies the products or services of:
- security officers
- security bodyguards
- security consultants
- security installers.
This licence only covers the advertisement and supply of security officers, bodyguards, consultants and installers. You will need a separate licence to work in those areas. You will need to be licensed as a security agent and any additional security licences to carry out work as a sole trader.
This licence may only be issued to individuals, but an individual may hold this licence on behalf of a partnership or a body corporate.
You may apply for a temporary licence of up to one year if you are an interstate visitor and hold an equivalent licence in your home state or territory.
