AG 901 Code of Practice for NGV Refuelling Stations - Australian Capital Territory


You will be required to comply with this code if you operate, or intend to operate, a natural gas vehicle refuelling station, (i.e. a petrol station), that retails compressed natural gas (CNG). The standard described in legislation has been superseded and compliance is now required with AS 5092-2009 (CNG refuelling stations).

This standard sets out the minimum requirements for refuelling vehicles that use CNG in the following areas:

  • Design;
  • Construction;
  • Operation; and
  • Maintenance.
