RSA Training Program Approval - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You will need this approval if you are a registered training organisation and intend to provide training in relation to the responsible service of alcohol (RSA).

RSA training informs employees and employers who work on licensed premises of their legal responsibilities, including the possible consequences for serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated persons.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible you must:

  • be a registered training organisation
  • read the RSA Training Course Approval Guideline on the Agency website or the ACT Legislation Register prior to completing the application form
  • submit evidence that the trainer has the necessary experience and qualifications
  • submit evidence that unit of competency is on scope of registration
  • submit evidence of trainer's six-month experience in a liquor service role
  • submit a copy of all course materials, workbooks, handouts, presentations etc.
  • submit a description of program content and presentation.
