Description

You must comply with this code if you are involved in the design, construction and installation of air shafts, pressure gauges, air locks and air receivers in tunnels and caissons where persons are engaged in compressed air work. A caisson is a watertight retaining structure used in situations such as the construction of a bridge pier.

The standard referenced in legislation has been superseded by AS 1228-2006 Pressure Equipment - Boilers.
