Annex to IMO Resolution MEPC.220(63) - Guidelines for the Development of Garbage Management Plans - Australian Government

Description

You are required to comply with these guidelines if you are the shipowner/operator of a vessel that is over 100 gross tonnage, or is certified to carry 15 or more passengers, or operate a fixed or floating platform. You will be required to carry on board a Garbage Management Plan.

These Guidelines provide direction on complying with the mandatory requirements for the development of a ship's garbage management plan and are intended to assist the shipowner/operator in the implementation of regulation 9(2) of Annex V of MARPOL 73/78.
