You will be required to comply with these guidelines if you intend to observe and / or interact with whales and dolphins for commercial purposes. The purpose of the guidelines is to ensure that the animals are not harmed.

The guidelines provide advice for all government and private enterprise in the development, update and implementation of laws regulating whale and dolphin watching. They provide a consistent national policy for the management of whale and dolphin watching.
