Australian New Zealand Standard AS/NZS 1170.2 Structural Design, Wind Actions - Australian Government

Description

You will be required to comply with this standard if intend to design or install a wind system. A wind system is a unit that converts energy from wind into electrical energy. A renewable energy certificate will only be given where a written statement is provided by the installer of the unit that the installation complies with this standard.

This standard provides a detailed procedure for the determination of wind actions on structures, varying from those less sensitive to wind action to those for which dynamic response must be taken into consideration.
