AS / NZS 3500 Plumbing and Drainage - Australian Government

Description

This standard applies to alterations, additions and variations as well as new installations. Note that this standard has been updated and you will need to meet the requirements set out in AS/NZS 3500.1:2021 Plumbing and Drainage Water Services.

You are required to comply with this standard if you intend to use or install one of the following products in a plumbing installation:

  • showers
  • dishwashers
  • clothes washing machines
  • lavatory equipment
  • urinal equipment
  • tap equipment
  • flow controllers.
