International Code of Safety for High Speed Craft (HSC) - Australian Government

Description

This code specifies minimum requirements for the:

  • Construction;
  • Hull;
  • Equipment; and
  • Machinery of high-speed craft (ships).

It also makes provision for or in relation to the survey and inspection of ships, including the issue of certificates.

This code applies to craft for which the keels are laid, or which are at a similar stage of construction from the middle of 2002.
