Marine Order 43 (Cargo and Cargo Handling - Livestock) - Australian Government

Description

You are required to comply with this Marine Order if you intend to operate a regulated Australian vessel, or a foreign vessel within Australian waters. This Order prescribes the standards for the loading, stowing, carriage and unloading of livestock. This Order also gives effect to:

  • Australian Standards for the export of livestock (ASEL)
  • International Maritime Solid Bulk Cargoes Code
  • International Safety Management (ISM) Code
