Description

You will be required to submit a notice to the Agency if you intend to erect a lift. Your notice must be submitted at least 24 hours before you intend to commence work.

A lift is a mechanical system used to raise or lower people, goods or equipment between floors of a building.

Eligibility Requirements

When providing notice you must:

  • Have attained a certificate from the structural or civil engineer for the building in which the lift or equipment is to be installed; and
  • Provide detailed plans of the installations.
