A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility Requirements

Application to the waste manager for a licence must be in writing. A licence must only be issued to those who comply with waste legislation.

The waste manager may refuse an application if:     

  • The application contains false or misleading information      
  • You have committed an waste management offense within 2 years the application.

Ongoing Eligibility Requirements

Licensee must continue to comply with waste legislation. The licensee must tell the waste manager of any changes to details submitted in the application.


This licence does not end unless it is surrendered, cancelled or you fail to pay the next licence fee.
