Work Health and Safety (Welding Process Code of Practice) Approval 2012 - Australian Capital Territory

Description

You may be required to comply with this code if you intend to operate a business or undertaking that involves workers conducting welding or allied processes. Allied processes include, but aren't limited to:

  • Metal preparation;
  • Metal cutting;
  • Gouging; and
  • Brazing and soldering that need specific control measures.

All welding and allied processes must be undertaken in a way that does not cause an employee to be at risk of harm. Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required.
