Description

You will be required to comply with this standard if you are the operator of a ship that is engaged in trade or commerce:

  • Between Australia and places outside Australia;
  • Between 2 places outside Australia;
  • Between the States of Australia; or
  • Within a Territory, or between a State and a Territory or between 2 Territories.

This includes a vessel that is licensed to engage in coastal trade, as well as certain offshore industry vessels.

The operator of a ship must report the average number of full-time equivalent employees of the operator in that financial year. The average must be calculated in accordance with this standard.
