Code for Existing Ships Carrying Liquefied Gases in Bulk - Australian Government

You must comply with this code if you intend to transport liquefied gases in bulk by sea. Liquefied gases in bulk must not be loaded onto, or unloaded from, a ship constructed prior to 1 July 1986 unless the ship is compliant with this code.

This code provides international standards for the safe carriage of liquefied gases in bulk by ships which are currently in service.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required.
