Early Introduction Permit - Australian Government


You will require this permit if you intend to introduce a chemical to Australia before an assessment certificate is issued. Only certain new chemicals will be eligible and include:

  • polymers of low concern
  • non-hazardous chemicals or polymers
  • chemicals and polymers meeting low-hazardous criteria
  • low-risk, highly controlled chemicals or polymers.
