IMO Resolution A.997(25): Survey Guidelines Under the Harmonized System of Survey and Certification, 2007 - Australian Government

Description

You will be required to comply with this standard if you operate a ship registered in Australia, or any ship in the territorial sea of Australia.

Initial renewal and annual load line surveys of ships must be carried out in accordance with Article 14 of the Load Line Convention and IMO Resolution A.997(25).

All ships, other than fishing vessels, which are over 24 metres in length must have a load line certificate. A load line certificate is only issued if certain conditions are met, including passing initial and periodical surveys and inspections.
