Marine Order 42 (Carriage, stowage and securing of cargoes and containers) - Australian Government

Description

You will be required to comply with this standard if you are the master of a cargo ship. This does not apply to ships solely carrying passengers, bulk solid, liquid or gaseous cargoes.

The master of all other ships must ensure that the ship carries an approved Cargo Securing Manual prepared in accordance with this standard.

All cargoes must be loaded, stowed and secured throughout a voyage in accordance with the ships approved Cargo Securing manual.
