Radiation Protection Standard Maximum Exposure Levels to Radiofrequency Fields - 3kHz to 300GHz (2002) - Australian Government

You will require this standard if you intend to deal with controlled apparatus. Controlled apparatus includes an apparatus which produces harmful non-ionizing radiation when energised. This standard provides the basis for standards and practices to limit general public and occupational exposure to radiofrequency (RF) radiation hazards. This standard specifies limits of human exposure to RF fields in the frequency range 3 kHz to 300 GHz, to prevent adverse health effects.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
