Authorised Centralised Monitoring System (CMS) Licence - New South Wales

Description

You will require this licence if you intend to operate an authorised Centralised Monitoring System (CMS). A CMS is a system that monitors the operation and performance of approved gaming machines. It can also be used to assess the gaming machine tax due for venues around NSW. Currently, only one company in NSW can hold this licence.

All approved gaming machines in NSW must be connected to an authorised CMS. Gaming technicians carrying out work on machines, as well as hoteliers and clubs, are responsible for connecting to the system.
