Most building or construction work will require an approved Development Consent before a Construction Certificate can be obtained. This approval process will often require precise details of the work such as construction plans and specifications for the development.
There are two different types of Construction Certificates. There is the normal Certificate that is lodged after Council approves your Development Consent. The other is a combined with a Development Consent and this is used for simpler developments such as a verandah.
