Permit for Road Events - New South Wales

Description

You will require this permit if you plan to stage a road event which may restrict or prevent access to any public roads, parking bays or footpaths. Road events include:

  • Speed contests (footraces, bike races, motor bike or vehicle races, etc); and
  • Filming projects and associated activities.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this approval you must provide details of the event such as the location, activities involved and the duration of the event. Please be aware that you will also need to provide proof of public liability insurance and that approval from other government agencies may be required (e.g. Police).
