Description

You may require this approval if you intend to draw water from a standpipe connected to a water supply network operated by a local Council. A standpipe is a portable, metered hydrant that can be connected to a water supply network.

Depending on which authority controls the water supply network you intend to draw water from you will need to contact the local Council, the Sydney Water corporation or the Hunter Water corporation for further information about this approval.

Please note that this approval may not be required on Norfolk Island.
