You may require this approval if you intend to set up, operate or use a loudspeaker or sound amplifying device on community land. For example, amplifiers, microphones, wireless receiving or broadcasting sets.

A sound amplifying device may be set up, operated or used on community land without prior approval if the Council has erected a notice on the land.

Please note that this approval may not be required on Norfolk Island.
