Historical Re-Enactment Organisers / Cannon Permit - New South Wales

You will require this permit if your historical re-enactment organisation intends to conduct an historical re-enactment event involving the possession and use of firearms by participants. Please be aware that this permit does not authorise the use of ammunition. However, blank cartridges may be used if the event is being carried out in front of an invited viewing audience, or at a place away from public view and hearing.

If you are a member of a historical society or club and intend to use a muzzle loading black powder cannon in historical re-enactments and displays you must also apply for a certain cannon permit.
