Powerhead Permit - New South Wales

Description

You may need this permit if you intend to use a powerhead to protect against shark attack. A powerhead is a device that is capable of propelling a projectile by means of an explosive that is designed to be attached to the end of a spear gun for use in underwater spear fishing.

This permit is usually only issued to people who, in the course of their business or employment, are reasonably likely to need to protect themselves or other people against shark attack.
