Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) Applicator Controller Licence - New South Wales


You will require this licence if you intend to operate a remotely piloted aircraft (RPA) for the purpose of the aerial application of pesticides. This is otherwise known as remote piloting. A pesticide is any substance or mixture of substances used to destroy or alter the life cycle of any pest. Pesticides are used in commercial, domestic and urban and rural environments and include bactericides, baits, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, lures, rodenticides and repellents.

You must also hold a RPA applicator business licence, or be engaged or employed by a holder of a licence.
