Agents Manager Approval - NT - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

You will need this approval if you intend to carry out work as a manager for a commercial or private agent. Agent managers ensure that licensed commercial and private agents comply with the law and keep appropriate records.

Licensed agents can only carry out work if they have an approved manager. Individual licensed agents may apply to be their own manager or get another approved person to act as manager. All corporations will require an approved person to act as manager.

To be eligible, you must:

be a fit and proper person
be at least 18 years of age
obtain a criminal history check
advertise your application.

If you are licensed in another state or territory, you may apply for mutual recognition.
