Australian Explosives Code - Northern Territory

Description

You must comply with this standard if you intend to manufacture, import or store explosives. Explosives include, but are not limited to, ammunition, blasting charges, fireworks and pyrotechnics. You must ensure that the explosives are packed and marked in accordance with this code.

The standard AS 2187 Explosives (the Code) covers the following subsets:

  • AS 2187.0 Explosives - Storage, transport and use - Terminology
  • AS 2187.1 Explosives - Storage, transport and use - Storage
  • AS 2187.2 Explosives - Storage, transport and use - Use of explosives
  • AS 2187.3 Explosives - Storage, transport and use - Pyrotechnics - Shopgoods fireworks - Design, performance and testing
  • AS 2187.4 Explosives - Storage, transport and use - Pyrotechnics - Outdoor displays.
