How to apply
Contact our Customer Service Centre to request application forms. When you submit your application you will need to provide:
a completed application form
a completed supplement to licence application
2 recent, passport sized photographs
details of 3 character referees for each applicant, close associate or executive officer
payment of the relevant fee.
How you will be assessed
Licences are not granted automatically. Submit your application at least 2 months before you intend to undertake activities proposed under the licence to allow enough time for the assessment to be completed.
Incomplete applications cannot be assessed and will be returned to the applicant.
Licences can only be granted where the applicant has been assessed under strict eligibility and suitability requirements. On some occasions you may be requested to provide additional information when considering your eligibility and suitability.
How you will be notified of the decision
You will receive written notification of the outcome. If you are successful, your licence will be mailed to you.
Your application to renew your licence must be received before the existing licence expires. You must apply on the approved form and pay the renewal fee. Contact our Customer Service Centre to request a copy of the licence renewal form.
If you do not intend to renew a licence, all cannabis plants and seed must be removed and or destroyed before the licence expires.
