The National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI) provides assistance to you, as an individual, with a means of access to the profession through a credentialing process and also with re-assessment of currently practising translators and interpreters.
Services for the profession include:
- Providing multiple pathways to increase and maintain the supply of credentialed, professional interpreters and translators available to the community, government and business; and
- Providing products and other services to support appropriately credentialed professional interpreters and translators in their practice.
Services for the broader public include:
- Providing information and/or advice to business, government and the public on the use of professional interpreters and translators; and
- Providing an internet based National Directory of Accredited Practitioners of Interpreting and Translating to help your agency, business, government organisation and the community at large to locate suitably qualified interpreters and translators.
