Advice on enforcement of invasive pest plant and animal control - Queensland


This service is provided to minimise the impact of invasive plants and animals throughout Queensland.

The department provides interpretation of Biosecurity Act 2014 on control of prohibited and restricted invasive plants and animals and explains to businesses how to implement the Act.

Assistance may include:

  • advice on legislative provisions for the control of specific pests
  • inspection of land to advise on dealing with pests and associated equipment and chemical requirements for prohibited and restricted pests.
