This service is provided to ensure that development of the State's mineral and petroleum resources is conducted in an environmentally responsible manner.

Resources are available for environmental authority applications; including infomation and advice on EMP (Environmental Management Plan), EIS (Environmental Impact Studies), Plans of Operations, audit statements, and final rehabilitation reports. Infomation on environmental mining policies, standards and criteria on environmental management is also available.

Applications are made directly using the MyMinesOnline electronic lodgement system.
