Why the Support is Provided?

This support service is provided to ensure the adequacy of water management systems involving dams on industrial and mining sites and that the offsite areas are suitably protected.

What Support is Provided?

The Project Support Group provides advice on the adequacy of containment measures for the control of discharges caused by excessive rainfall and manageable water usages.

It also provides advice on mining and industrial waste management particularly with respect to practices for the deposition of tailings and waste piles
