To help primary producers cope with natural disaster events.

To minimize stock injury, disease and pest outbreaks and stock loss, and to provide a co ordinated assistance approach.

Biosecurity officers are available to provide a wide range of assistance with regards to animal welfare during natural disasters.

Assistance can include advice, co-ordination of help and support services and referrals to specific expertise etc.
