Application for an Individual Disaster Stricken Property (IDSP) Declaration - Queensland

Description

Where a primary producer is not in an area activated for Natural Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements (NDRRA) assistance but has suffered significant damage from a natural disaster they are able to apply for an Individual Disaster Stricken Property (IDSP) declaration.

An IDSP application will allow eligible properties to receive freight subsity assistance through the Department's loans and grants through Queensland Rural Adjustment Authority (QRAA) and/or other government assistance.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for an IDSP declaration, your property must first have suffered damage as a result of a natural disaster.  This form must be submitted ASAP after the disaster event, or contact made with a Climate Risk Coordinator 13 25 23.

No fees apply.

Additional information

Complete the form and lodge it online.  The form will be electronically forwarded to the Climate Risk Coordinator in your region, who will assess the application, asking for input from other departmental officers as necessary.  Your property may then be inspected by a departmental officer.
