Approval to deposit or dispose of waste - Southern Downs Regional Council - Queensland

Description

You will need this approval if you intend to deposit or dispose of waste on your premises. This approval will only be given for waste that you produce on your premises, including property renovation / rubbish removal that requires a skip bin or other temporary structure.

Waste covered by this approval is divided into three categories:

  • Commercial waste - produced as a result of the ordinary use or occupation of a commercial premises
  • Domestic waste - produced as a result of the ordinary use or occupation of domestic premises
  • Recyclable waste - clean and inoffensive waste that is declared by the local council to be recyclable.

On issuing your approval, your local council may impose conditions regarding the location and / or method of the deposit or disposal of waste.
