Description

Under the Liquor Act 1992, individuals and organisations that maintain and operate a database (capturing banning details and ID scanner information from networked liquor licensed premises) need an approval to operate in Queensland.

Application process

To apply for a licence, submit the following to the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation (OLGR):

  • Form 52: Application for an approved operator approval
  • Company probity form: Applicant for approved ID scanning systems
  • Personal probity form: Applicant for approved ID scanning systems (for an individual applicant, or for each company director, company secretary, chief executive officer, share holder and where applicable, each beneficiary (over 18) under a trust).

Vary

You must notify OLGR in writing if any of the following changes occur:

  • change of company name
  • change of shareholders
  • change of executive officer/secretary.

Transfer process

This licence cannot be transferred.
