Bingo centre licence - Queensland

Description

This licence is required when 2 or more eligible associations intend to conduct, between or amongst them, more than 25 bingo sessions each week, from the same premises.

Eligibility requirements

Must Have

To be an applicant, you must be an association (the 'applicant' association) incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 1981.

The applicant association's ordinary members must consist only of individuals (the 'individuals') appointed by each of the eligible associations conducting, or intending to conduct, bingo at the premises, as representatives of the eligible associations.

Each individual must be an ordinary member of the eligible association that appointed the individual.

The number of individuals appointed to the applicant association by each eligible association must be the same.

Duration

This licence remains in effect for 1 year.

All fees are indexed annually. Annual fees are payable by 31 July each year.

The OLGR credit card payment authority form can be used for credit card payments of all OLGR fees.

OLGR will not accept credit card details by fax or email, including PDF attachments. If an email is received with credit card details, it will be deleted immediately and your form will not be processed. This is in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.

Application process

You must submit the following to the Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation:

  • Form 2D: Bingo centre licence application
  • application fee.

Note: All applications must be lodged at least 28 days prior to the proposed commencement date of the game/s.

Transfer process

This licence cannot be transferred.
