Community Titles Information and Dispute Resolution Service - Queensland

Description

This information service assists the community understand its rights and obligations under the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997. The Dispute Resolution Service provides a low cost means for resolving disputes in community titles schemes under the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997.

The Information Service gives general information to persons involved in community titles schemes such as lot owners, occupiers, committees and body corporate managers on the Body Corporate and Community Management Act 1997. Information can be obtained by phone or by submitting an online enquiry. Seminars are also conducted and information is available from the website or by undertaking free online training.

The dispute resolution service is available to owners, occupiers and bodies corporate. The legislation requires the application to lodge a dispute on the approved form for conciliation or adjudication with the Commissioner's Office.
