Credentials and Clinical Privileges Standard - Queensland


Scope of this legislative Instrument:

Section 12 of the Private Health Facilities Act 1999 empowers the Chief Health Officer to make standards for the protection of the health and well-being of patients receiving health services at private health facilities.

The Credentials and Clinical Privileges Standard provides measures to evaluate, monitor and review the credentials of medical practitioners providing, or seeking to provide, health services at the facility.
