Information and Advice on Queensland's Native Fauna - Queensland

Description

This support service is provided to promote the protection and recovery of threatened fauna and flora in Queensland.

The service provides information on the occurrence of native threatened fauna and flora in Queensland. It also provides information and advice on the management and conservation of threatened native fauna.

Information on land use for conservation as well as distribution and abundance of commercially utilised species is also provided.

The Department of Environment and Heritage Protection provides information on the ecology of rare or threatened species and advice on ecological sustainable development principles relating to wildlife.
