This service is offered to:

  • assist in providing advice in relation to the nature conservation values before large investment decisions are made, particularly for the acquisition of land. In providing this advice, the agency desires to address potential land use conflicts at an early stage in project planning
  • provide mapped information on CD regarding bioregion and sub-regional biodiversity values to assist with achieving ecological sustainable development and the protection of biodiversity.

What Support is Provided?

To provide information that may assist in identifying potential environmental and nature conservation issues before investment decisions are taken by development interests, but not replacing subsequent environmental impact assessment procedures.
