Management and Staffing Standard - Queensland


Scope of this legislative Instrument:

Section 12 of the Private Health Facilities Act 1999 empowers the Chief Health Officer to make standards for the protection of the health and well-being of patients receiving health services at private health facilities.

The Management and Staffing Standard provides that health services at the facility must be organised and administered to provide optimum patient care according to the goals and objectives of the facility and to meet the needs of the patient population being served.
